This supportive and informative session will help carers better understand and support autistic young people through the changes and challenges of growing up.
The session will cover:
- Understanding autism and how it can affect experiences of puberty
- Supporting autistic young people through physical and emotional changes
- Understanding mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Recognising signs that a young person may be struggling
- Practical ways to provide support and reassurance
Urdu interpreter available throughout the session.
